Florida

My hard working husband is working in Florida.
He left us in a snowglobe.
So we headed to Sunny Florida to defrost, soak up some rays and see what Bryan's world looks like.
All three were excited to fly.

As we walked off the jetway Bryan and my Mom were waiting.
Well they had a bit of a wait as I cleaned up Jake from getting sick on the plane.  Poor guy!
The first morning we played at the hotel pool until Bryan could come to the beach with us.
Jake wanted to catch a lizard and bring it home to keep as a pet.  Notice the lizard in the above picture?
After swimming all day we ate dinner right on the ocean.

Headed out again for dinner and window shopping.
My handsome guy!
This outdoor mall had trumpets that announced it was going to snow.  My Wisconsin kids were not impressed as soap fell from the sky!  They pulled their shirts over there mouth and nose and we watched the local kids go nuts.
Bryan found a flower for his Princess.
We found a nature trail....
a Sea Turtle Rescue Center....
and a park to play at one afternoon while Bryan worked.
My three babies all tuckered out on the last night in Florida.
We had a 3 am wake up call to start our journey home.
Forever grateful for the time spent with my Mom, Kids and Bryan!

Disney World

6 am we were all in the hotel lobby eating breakfast.
With sleepy eyes we headed North for Disney World.
Tickets were in hand and the kids had no idea of what was on the otherside of those gates.
They were in for one huge adventure!
After 2.5 hours of driving we walked into the most magical place on earth.
I was even swept up in the magic....maybe because I was seeing it through the eyes of my children.
All three of them were the perfect age to have memories of Disney World forever etched in to their minds.
There was car driving....
Magic Carpet flying....
Train riding...
Photo: What did we love most about DisneyWorld? Splashdown! (Beware, you might get wet)
Our favorite ride...Splash Mountain.
Brylee was stomping her feet chanting "again, again!" before the ride was even over!
My men rocked the Pink Tea Cup.
Sword pulling....
A Buzz Lightyear adventure...
a bit of waiting....
some peeking....
Climbing to high places...

Brylee decided that the actors that play the Princess' for sure live in the castle.
We found some suckers just in time for the parade.

Love the castle...
Waiting in line for the Pirates ride...
Space Mountain...sure glad the Jake and Brylee did not fly out of their seats for that crazy ride.
The sun set and the kids danced at Club 626.
A ride around Tomorrowland.
Almost time for the Christmas Castle Show.
December was the best time of the year to go.

The fireworks and show were more than amazing!
For 12 hours we made memories to last a lifetime!
3 very tired kids shuffled their feet back to the car to dream about Disney World all the way back to West Palm Beach.

Ocean of Love

Standing on Juno Beach with huge eyes staring upon the ocean for the first time.
They were awestruck!
Brett
If only I knew what my boy was thinking as he sat in the ocean hours upon hours.
The ocean beat him up leaving cuts and brusises that showed its power.  Wave after wave took him on the ride of his life.  Brett only emerged from the ocean to build a sand castle or to have a sand fight.
Jacob
Jacob was busy running, building and starting sand fights.
He saw the power and beauty of God.  One day he wrote "Thank you God" in the sand in hopes that someone walking by would read his message.
Brylee
Brylee did as many cartwheels down the beach as her little body could muster.
She elected herself head of the decorating committee and decorated all the sand castles her brothers built.
She was a hunter of beautiful seashells.

Life was Good on the Beach!
It was even better when my hard working husband snuck away from work and joined us on the beach.
I will be forever grateful that my Mama was able to meet us in Florida.  We had the time of our lives!
