My Turkeys

This Thanksgiving I am grateful that Jacob remembered to be thankful for his nose on his placemat he made at school.

This Thanksgiving I am grateful that when cutting an onion for the stuffing Brylee pulled up a stool next to me and wiped the tears that were falling out of my eyes.

This Thanksgiving I am grateful that Brett liked my sweet potato casserole so much that he ate his weight in it.

I catch Brett watching over his sister.

I catch Brylee batting her eyelashes and saying "Bretty" all the time.

 

The Turkey Tango

Brylee and Jake had some sweet dance moves at the Harvest Dance Program at school.

The favorite being the Turkey Tango.  Unfortunately I do not have a video of Jacob dancing the Tango because Mama was dancing with him!

Thursday nights...the night Jake studies for his spelling test.

It is filled with tears, complaining, breaking of pencil lead and wrinkled paper.

But not on this particular Thursday night.  

Mama pulled out a mirror and a marker.

And he studied with a smile on his face.

My firecracker came home with a perfect spelling test!
