Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

Lots of fun putting up the tree!

Jacob's First Hunting Trip

The boys had a blast. Good thing they have their Dad because they got me for a Mom! Brylee really wanted to go. She kept telling me she had her hunting pants on. Maybe next year?

Oh so Thankful!

I am thankful for:
The grace that I absolutely do not deserve and yet receive everyday.
For the four beautiful faces I wake up to everyday.
My husband who works so hard so I can stay home with our 3 beautiful kiddos.
For being given the gift of three amazing children.
For my family~I have the best! My Mom who unconditionally loves me, Talli for moving 1000 miles so we can be together, Dad for teaching me life lessons, Ryan for making me laugh, Jim for never being wrong, that's right never and of course for always being so generous.
The incredible family I married into.
Wonderful friends.
For living in the United States of America.
Being debt free.
And most important my salvation.
What a blessed life!!!
Happy Thanksgiving.

4th Generation....

of hunters and woodworkers. The boys are finally old enough to go hunting with Bryan and love to work in Grandpa's shop.

Pastor Brett

Brett just finished reading the Old Testament this morning. He was really excited to get to the New Testament. He also has all the books of the bible memorized. This kid reads hundred of pages a day. He is always reading. I must say he is one amazing kid!!!!!

The Home Stretch....

Bryan's first day to paint. This was his first chance to paint after working 19 days straight. Notice we saved the really high stuff for Travis. Thank goodness for Travis. Need a painter call Travis. For real!!!!

Jacob is getting a raise......

in his allowance. The boys are with their Grandparents this weekend (thank you Sue and Tom) so I can recover from whatever horrible bug I have. I'm not sure what is easier one child or more than one child. I am having flashbacks of when it was just Brett and I. I now know how much Jacob entertains Brylee all day. Brylee has been glued to my side all day. We have had girly fun. I will say I do enjoy going in public with just one. No stress. Must go Brylee is on my lap begging for attention. She misses her brothers!!!

Not the first child......

Now coffee would never of touched the lips of Brett. Not even sure how Brylee knows what coffee is. I do not like coffee unless it is 95% flavored cream and very rarely is coffee ever made in this house. She caught me in a weak moment. I do not feel good, and she is screaming "tofee, tofee"!!! It takes me a couple of minutes to figure out what she is totally flipping out about and is now on the floor kicking and screaming about. I then look down and realize I am drinking water out of a coffee cup because I have been out of commision for the last few days and of course there are no clean cups. I then say you want coffee. She looks up with big tears running down her face and says "des." So I do what all good moms do I make her coffee for lunch. She is pretty sure the coffee pot is a loud appliance.

Oh how good coffee smells.

That's my girl, add lots of creamer!

Stir it up after spilling half the bottle.

And sit back and enjoy becauce your Mom is a push-over and you are definitley the 3rd child.
Feeling much better about herself!

2nd grade Thanksgiving Feast

Brett is very proud of his work. He could not remember what the symbols represented, but he did remember everything they ate for lunch. Imagine that!

Can I take your order???

We like to play restaurant. Jacob is a great waiter. They laugh so hard!

Movie Night

I never learn.....everytime we go to the movie I swear never again until she is three. Brylee makes it through the previews and then we spend the rest of the movie in the lobby or washing our hands in the bathroom. That's okay!! Quality time with my favorite little girl in the lobby.

Multiple Choice....Who does this doll look like??

This picture cost me two dollars. I have learned that when you are 8 it is very uncool to hold a doll.
This picture cost me the icebreakers in my purse. When you are 4 and your big brother thinks dolls are not very cool then by default you think the same.

This picture was free. Brylee was just happy to have her doll back.

A for Brett
B for Jacob
or
C for Brylee

Uncle Ryan will be happy to know that his Cabbage Patch doll is in good hands. (Make sure you show Ryan) I bet MiMi never thought when she bought the doll she would have a twin grandson some day.

33.3333333% chance

Brylee has a 33% chance of getting her legs in the right holes. Not bad odds! For some reason Bylee has never hit the jackpot. She is content wearing her panties like this all day. Which is just fine with this Mom. Now on to the shirt. Not once has she actually got her head through the hole, but everyday she trys and ends up kicking and screaming trying. Unfortunately it is getting cold outside and I have to help her. She thinks she is hiding her shirt from me! Morning are very hard for this 2 year old.
This is Brylee at 25 months old.

Just do it!!!!

You would think that at 29 I would not fall for peer pressure, but I did. "Just climb up the ladder and stand up I will be right behind you," says Talli. Well with neighboors and family telling me it's not that bad I did it, I climbed up, crawled and sat like a baby. You see that is me finally getting off the roof after 30 minutes of trying to figure out how to get down. Notice Talli is of no help because she if busy with the camera. Bryan did climb the ladder and say "oh yea that is steep I would not of climbed up there." Now you tell me!! My hands are sweaty just thinking of being up there. You no me trying to save money by doing it myself. Don't worry Travis will be here tomorrow to save the day and I am more than happy to pay him! By the way I did fill in 3 nail holes.

Weekend #2

3 awesome painters. Thank you Angela and Talli. You both rock!!! Mmmm maybe we found our calling. Just kidding!! And thank you to our neighbor Jason who put his tool belt on and came down!!!! We could not of done it without all the help.
Kylee taking care of Brylee. (The little girl Brylee was named after.)

Not sure why I am in charge of caulking. No matter how horrible a job I did, I was still allowed to use that caulk gun. I am getting better!
