Frog CPR

I was rushing out the door to pick up a couple of things at the grocery store for dinner.
This is what I found in the driveway.
"Ummmm J, what are you doing?"
"Mom when I found my frog it was alive." Jake exclaimed.
"I built him a desert with water and he was perfectly fine, then Brylee and Mariah fed my frog a popsicle and put him a tub of warm water.  I took him out of the water and he passed out!  So I am giving him cpr."
(picture his finger pushing on the dead frog's belly and frog legs flailing all over the place with every push of the finger)
"See Mom it's working!!!
I got him a heartbeat."
"Yes J it looks like you successfully revived your frog."
"I'm going to put my frog back in Mariah's driveway so she can babysit while we are at the store."
"Perfect!" I say.
"Hey J, can you please wash your hands?"
"Why Mom???"
Brylee sweetly told me she doesn't need to wash her hands because she does not do frog cpr.
Just another day with my J.

Friends

Brylee and Mariah
Mariah is a gorgeous, spunky, bug collecting, animal loving, not afraid to get dirty kind of girl.  And at the same time can be just as girly.
These girls are pretty much inseparable.
Before this friendship Brylee would cry when a bee flew past her, did not like to get sweaty, and panicked when her clothes got dirty.
Brylee no longer cries when a bug flies past her, she now brings me way too many creepy crawly things and insists that when she brings me frogs that are not moving they are just sleeping.  If these girls come to your door with a cooler, open with caution.  It is most likely filled with snakes.
Don't let them fool you with their newly purchased matching skirts.  The skirts came off and shorts were put on to go explore outside.
At the end of the day Brylee comes home sweaty, dirty and full of adventurous stories.
Brylee is blessed to have such a wonderful friend!
