My Ears are Still Ringing

Because it was Bryan's Birthday and he begged and pleaded I caved and said I would to out to the place where he and his Dad duck hunt. I was pretty much freaking out because it was over 100 degrees and we all know that I don't like to be in the heat or outdoors. But with all glory given to God a storm was rolling in and the temp. dropped 20 degrees. THANK YOU GOD!
I even shot a gun! All I could think of was man that would hurt to be shot with a gun.
It was the first time the boys got to use their airsoft guns. They have never been so excited. Bryan even helped them shoot a riffle. And for Brylee she enjoyed the sand and flowers.
Alright is was kinda fun and I may do it again in 10 years....maybe.

Bry is 38!

Bryan has been on the world for 38 years!
For his birthday he ran 10 miles, painted a bathroom, put in a new toilet, went to Home Depot, did some laundry, took Jake shopping for a bb-gun and finally got to relax at Red Robin for dinner.
Happy Birthday!

First Football Practice

Usually I am the Picture Queen. But as you can see it was 104. I watched Brett from the comfort of the air in the car. Why oh why do they have to practice with helmets on when it is 104??? I was having heat stroke watching.
Brett has practice 4 days a week, 2 hours a pop. So far I only know of one boy puking. I am fine so far...just drills. Don't know how much I like the tackle part.
Wow it sure starts young!

Brett is the 3rd kiddo about to run past the coach.

Book Worms

Align Center
Brett is a BOOK WORM. Most days he reads 100's of pages. That must be why he reads at a high school level.
Jacob thinks he can read. He only "reads" books that Brett reads.

and so does she!

Check it off my List

That is Swim Lessons. Brett is so busy during the school year that swim lessons are best during the summer. We squeezed them in. Bless her heart. Brylee was not old enough. So we spent 2 hours a day 4 days a week for 2 weeks cheering the boys on.
Jake is a natural fish. He loves the water.
Brett loved swimming laps in the lap pool.

I feel much better I got that checked off my list :)

FlapperDoodle Fun....

that is FlapperDoodle Clothes fun. Brylee's MiMi surprised her with some new FlapperDoodle Clothes. Brylee's favorite :)

Baseball is Over :(

that means summer is coming to an end. I love summer...well not the heat but having all my babies home.
Baseball has been over for a few weeks and we are officially in the swing of football....tackle football. That's another story.
For baseball Brett had an Amazing Coach. His name is Jim. In the beginning of the season he sent email that stated he would pray with the boys. Seriously how awesome is that! Especially for the boys who have not grown up knowing God. Goddard baseball is a secular oraganization and for Jim to share his love for the Lord with the boys makes him an Amazing Coach. I was in awe after every game as he had all the boys on their knees. The other team would be running around like crazy and the Tigers would be huddled together praying. I am grateful that Brett was able to be a Tiger :)
The season ended with a swim party for the boys. The city pool was open just for the boys. Of course Brett had a blast!
