Elf

Elf came to our house this year.

Jake and Brylee named him Jo Ann Jingles.

Well Brylee added the Ann because she really wanted a girl elf.

Brylee was in love with him.  Here she is making a bed for Elf.

She wrapped it up and put it under the tree.

His beverage of choice was syrup.

He made plenty of messes.

The little ones would run down the stairs to find him.

He was even sick with J.

Brett had some fun with it.

Fishing.

The Frozen Tundra

My snow angel is excited that the snow is finally here.

Jake is a crazy sledding fool.  He has no fear.

And it doesn't even take much convincing to get this teenager outside.

Thankful

What Jake is...

thankful for.

Candy because it makes me hyper.

Water because it keeps me hydrated.

Toys because they keep me off my 3DS.

School because it helps me learn.

Brett because you are the best bro.

You help me when I need you.

You are brave.

Best of all you love us.

love you Brett!!

and Jake is also thankful for the military.

I love that he wrote out the Pledge of Allegiance.

And I am thankful for my Jake!
