Bryan

My husband....
A man who....
Travels for work sometimes weeks at a time
never complains about it
Is a hands on father
jumps right in when he is home to give me a break
Cooks for me
makes enough to put in the refrigerator so I have left overs
Builds me furniture and refinishes the deck on his only 2 days off
As crazy and emotional as I can get
he remains my rock
Watches his daughter dance and twirl for him
and makes her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world
Teaches his boys how to be men
Takes me on dates
Always puts himself after his families needs
Loves the Lord before anything else
and
 Is all mine!

Saver

Brett is a saver.
He saved for over a year to buy his own laptop.
Yay Brett!

A MiMi Visit!

There is nothing better than having my Mom jump in and join our life.
We had a fun filled, nonstop 8 days filled with memories.
When one comes to Brylee's house she prepares many pieces of art work.
And when one does not wear her glasses, one must hold the art far away to see it.
Big Hugs!
Silly MiMi secretly asked for lots of activity.
She got her wish, 6 soccer games in one weekend.
One morning we left the house at 6 am.
Let it be know I actually wore my Mama out for the first time in her life.
Quick Orthodontist trip.
We walked for miles and miles after dropping the kids off at school and make it to the Y one morning.
An afternoon spent volunteering at school.
A picnic lunch at school.

Olympic Day

A pizza party, slumber party and entertaining the countless kids that show up.
A lava lamp for Brett
Battleship for Jake.
New heels, jewelry and outfit for Baby Girl.
Tears when parting from MiMi to go to school.
Kisses for Brett when no one is looking....
so no hyperbolas are started!
Car washing after a long weekend of traveling for soccer.
We took Jake to lunch and gave a good dose of embarrassment!

Until next time we will hold on to the memories.

The Wedding of Q and U

There was a big Wedding in Brylee's Kindergarden class.
Princess Q and Prince U got married.
The girls were to dress up for the big occasion.
Brylee dressed up as a bride.
She looks innocent......
But she was a real Bridezilla on this early Friday morning....
There were several "no's!" and rolling on the floor.
She turned herself around when Jake's friends showed up.
I then thought to myself....Brylee in a brides dress with two babies is not an ideal situation!

After some sparkly eyes and lipstick we took the tatoo covered bride to school.

Speech

Little Jake only had a handful of words at age 3.
If he was talking to me the whole sentence was Mamamamamamama.
He started speech therapy the month he turned 3.
Speech has been part of his life for the past 5 years.
He has had some amazing speech teachers.
Mrs. A has been his speech teacher since Kindergarden.
Mrs. A makes him feel special and important.
Jake loves speech days!
So much so that others in his class were faking speech issues to try to go to speech with Jake.
It finally happened...Jake was dismissed from speech.
He. Was. Devastated.
He says he never wants to leave speech.
Being the great speech teacher she is, once in awhile she will swing by and pick up Jake just for fun.
Thank you Mrs. A!!!
