Last Day of School

A nice sugary start to the last day of school.

Brett on the 1st day of 6th grade and the last.

Jake on the 1st day of 2nd grade and the last.

Brylee on the 1st of Kindergarten and the last.

Such a bittersweet time.

It reminds me how fast they are growing up.  

We gave the most amazing teachers see you later hugs. 

Teachers that I actually got teary eyed saying goodbye too. 

All the kids were blessed with incredible teachers. 

Now on to summer vacation.

We have many things on our summer bucket list!

The Wedding of Q and U

There was a big Wedding in Brylee's Kindergarden class.

Princess Q and Prince U got married.

The girls were to dress up for the big occasion.

Brylee dressed up as a bride.

She looks innocent......

But she was a real Bridezilla on this early Friday morning....

There were several "no's!" and rolling on the floor.

She turned herself around when Jake's friends showed up.

I then thought to myself....Brylee in a brides dress with two babies is not an ideal situation!

After some sparkly eyes and lipstick we took the tatoo covered bride to school.

Hair

The of days of Brylee jumping on the stool in the morning and letting me do her hair are coming to an end. 

Which makes me sad.  I love to do her hair! 

But she tells me, "You do not know my fashion." 

They days are coming few and far between when she jumps on the stool.

I love making hearts with her hair.....

Braiding ribbons in her hair....

French braiding her hair at night right after her shower so she had super curly hair... 

and tying knots in hair.

Once in awhile she will request for me to do her hair but only how she wants it. 

and

Oh boy do I get excited!

The Color of Music

This picture pretty much sums up how excited Brylee was about her Kindergarden Music Program.

When one tells her to wear her best clothes she takes it serious.  After a fashion show for her Daddy they picked the butterfly skirt and her highest heels.

We stayed up late painting nails and putting curlers in her hair to sleep in.

She was up at the crack of dawn to get ready.

Brett and I went to the afternoon and evening performances.

Almost showtime!

She did a good job keeping those around her quiet and telling them when their parts were.

My Gummy Bear

In Brylee's Kindergarden class when they are getting a little too wiggly her teacher plays the Gummy Bear song on the smartboard and the kids get all their crazies out. 

Brylee is one crazy dancing Gummy Bear!

She loves to practice up at home.

The Turkey Tango

Brylee and Jake had some sweet dance moves at the Harvest Dance Program at school.

The favorite being the Turkey Tango.  Unfortunately I do not have a video of Jacob dancing the Tango because Mama was dancing with him!

Halloween 2012

At school I found Batman... 

and a Winter Fairy. 

My favorite trick-or-treaters showed up. 

Off to get some goodies. 

Brett's first year he thought he was too cool to dress up :(

He did tape a quarter on his back and was a "quarterback" at school. 

We gathered some friends and walked the neighborhood until there was complaining of cold hands. 

Then we headed to church. 

Brett hung out with his youth group friends and watched a Fear Factor eating contest and shot paintball guns. 

They dumped their buckets and crashed hard.
