Brylee has a 33% chance of getting her legs in the right holes. Not bad odds! For some reason Bylee has never hit the jackpot. She is content wearing her panties like this all day. Which is just fine with this Mom. Now on to the shirt. Not once has she actually got her head through the hole, but everyday she trys and ends up kicking and screaming trying. Unfortunately it is getting cold outside and I have to help her. She thinks she is hiding her shirt from me! Morning are very hard for this 2 year old.

This is Brylee at 25 months old.

You would think that at 29 I would not fall for peer pressure, but I did. "Just climb up the ladder and stand up I will be right behind you," says Talli. Well with neighboors and family telling me it's not that bad I did it, I climbed up, crawled and sat like a baby. You see that is me finally getting off the roof after 30 minutes of trying to figure out how to get down. Notice Talli is of no help because she if busy with the camera. Bryan did climb the ladder and say "oh yea that is steep I would not of climbed up there." Now you tell me!! My hands are sweaty just thinking of being up there. You no me trying to save money by doing it myself. Don't worry Travis will be here tomorrow to save the day and I am more than happy to pay him! By the way I did fill in 3 nail holes.

Weekend #2

3 awesome painters. Thank you Angela and Talli. You both rock!!! Mmmm maybe we found our calling. Just kidding!! And thank you to our neighbor Jason who put his tool belt on and came down!!!! We could not of done it without all the help.

This is Brylee's favorite baby of the week. She sleeps with her and all. Sure is hard to take care of a baby half your size!!!

TGFHH (Thank God for Handy Husbands)

This post will serve three purposes. First to let my wonderful husband know that I think he is awesome and he amazes me with the all he does around the house. Second, thank you Talli and Pat with help painting! And last if I ever think it would be fun to fix up an old house, please shot me. There is nothing fun about painting or home improvement!!!! I can handle holding things and being the go get person. Bylee was the drink girl.
I did escape to the kitchen because of course we need banana bread muffins.
Second day, Talli getting some instructions for the man himself.
Don't be fooled we have not started painting yet.
Talli all ready to start. (Just a side note she thought the paining was fun for about 30 minutes.) Thanks for hanging in there with me!

My wonderful neighbor who did all the paiting on the ladder.
Right after falling through I knew painting was not my calling and since then I have called to hire a wonderful man to paint the rest of the house because I am a big baby like that.
Oh man that hurt but Talli and Pat pulled me out (well Talli of course got the camera first).
Yes that is a face of knowing that it has come to the end.

Halloween Fun!

Brylee's new word of the week is......

Des. I will translate for you. Yes. She also learned to count to 3 this week. You go Brylee! Her new phrase for the week is "I can do it." She is very patient even if it takes 10 long minutes to put her socks on.

Picture day for the Young Ones

Jacob is four, or as he puts it "my number is 4."

Okay Okay now everyone can tell that Brylee is going to be a model. She loves the camera. Doesn't every good Mom continuoulsy put their child on the number block and run as the poor soul chases after you wondering what in the world she has done wrong???? I'm sure Brylee is going to have nightmares about her horrible experience at Portrait Innovations. The nice lady at the end of the session asked the question if she could have permission to use the photographs taken. I of course say yes, only if you choose to use this one of Brylee.:) We will try again in a year.

Brett 2nd Grade Fall Party

We all had fun at Brett's fall party. Brylee found the princesses in the parade and Jacob found all the Star Wars guys. Brylee thinks Brett has some pretty neat things desk, Jake rocked out. (See video below) All the students left with parents. Not mine he had to ride the bus with his friends. Mr. Social. 3 days off from school. I love days off!

Yes it is a time to celebrate. The boys cleaned their room. I mean the whole room is cleaned. You can walk in and not trip of stub your toe! Good job boys!!!!!!

Yet another Time Out For Jake

Some days Jacob spends a good percentage of his day in time out and this was one of these days.

Yes he is on top of the washing machine in the laundry room so he does now wake up his sister who is sleeping peacefully.

Don't worry I am watcing the whole time to make sure he does not jump or attempt to destroy the laundry room in his rage.

Poor guy! Sometimes it is hard to be 4.
