Because I Love Him and He Loves Football

2 Football games this weekend = 8 hours in the car with the little ones. Too cold and wet to sit outside with them. Is it sad I was thrilled that they lost so we could go home???

Brett was super excited to play in the rain. After the game was over I saw many tears from cold players....Not Brett...he of course had a blast!

The season is over....oh what will we do with all the extra time???

Bunk-Beds

Why sleep on a soft comfy couch when you have the option of a nice hard table. There are several fights throughout the day between Jake and Brylee to see who gets the top bunk.

Brett is the Big 9!

Brett is another year older! He had a day full of presents, shopping, eating out, going to the movie, playing and cake eating.
Happy Birthday to the most cool, handsome, loving 9 year old I know :)

Brylee's New Friend

Brylee lives in a world of boys. Two brothers...not a girl in the neighborhood. She is surrounded by all boys all the time. Her favorite toy is her barbie car because that is the only girl toy her brother Jake will play with.
So.....she loves her new friend! The first thing she did was switch clothes with her barbie. At bedtime she let her barbie borrow some of her jammies and all was fine until she got jealous because barbie had on her her favorite jammies. So switch-a-roo with jammies and she was able to go to bed but not before picking out clothes for her new barbie to wear in the morning :)

My Baby is 3!

Brylee is now 3. We had a fun day filled with lots of princesses and barbies.
They brought her an ice cream sundae at Applebees and she politely pushed it away and asked the waitress to bring her some princess cake :)

My Baby Boy is 5!

Jacob's birthday was yesterday! He decided instead of a birthday party he wanted $100. He woke up bright and early and opened his present from Grandma/pa C, then a phone call to MiMi so he could search for his present that she had hidden here. Then the long wait began for Brett and Dad to come home so he could go shopping with his $100. At first he wanted to pack dinner and bring it with so he could spend his money and not waste time eating. But he decided on pizza at Target. Followed by lots of playing with his new presents!

Brett's 1st Football Game

Brett was pumped for his first game. He woke up bright and early ready to go. He followed coaches instructions and had ate a plate of eggs. Might I add he does not like eggs :)

They may have lost and he has a bruise on his leg, but he had a blast and is all ready to go to a football party this afternoon. A day full of football!

and they have some pretty cute cheerleaders :)
Next Saturday we are off to Hutchinson for game #2.
