A Little Home Tour

August 14th after the moving truck drove off and I wiped my good-bye tears we met my Mom in MN.  She and the kids opted for a slumber party in the empty MN house.  Bryan and I headed to the Holiday Inn.
The next morning the moving truck arrived.
The kids were in charge of folding 20 million pieces of packing paper.  That lasted about 10 minutes.
By nights end we were up to our eyeballs in boxes and paper.
Bryan, my mom and I all put in 18 hours on the first day.
On the 5th day we tackled our shopping list and grabbed lunch because we were done!!!
In 4 days between the three of us we worked 150 hours!
I want to pinch myself that it is done.  Last time we moved I unpacked all the boxes myself and it took three months.
THANK YOU Mom for coming to help!

We decided to rent not knowing how long this adventure will be.
Now for a little tour of our rental home.....
Walking in the front door.
Turn the corner and you head toward the living room.

North Dakota

This was our 3rd annual go to North Dakota on the last day of school.
We made it as far as Fargo on the 1st day.
The kids enjoying a nice Hampton breakfast.
We stopped at Scheels on the way out of town.  Jake loves presidents so we stopped and snapped a pic.
And of course ride the ferris wheel.
Next stop Bismarck.
My grandparents.  Lovely.  Amazing. Role Models.
Love them!!!
My favorite Auntie Jo.
Minot is kinda like an island.  But we found our way.
We finally made it!
I'm sure this picture is of Mom explaining why she lost her phone, keys or sunglasses again!
Jake loves his Grandpa.
An afternoon spent at Splash Down

We went to church to hear Travis give his testimony.
I was proud to sit next to him.
A quick trip to the zoo.
Cotton candy blue hands and mouth.

I'm positive Brylee is a clone of her Grandma.
They are so much alike.
The only two people I know who get excited to clean.
My favorite Aunt Sandy
The kids wait and wait just to capture small amounts of time with Uncle Ryan.
Look at Brett smile at him.

Ryan and Jacob Ryan.
If only Ryan knew how much his Jacob Ryan is like him.
He works so hard.
We had an afternoon of pricing things for the biggest garage sale ever.
I even found new undies for them to sell.
Silly Mom was going to throw them away.
Brylee is a pricing super star.  She did not need any help on deciding prices.
Our very cool cousin Caisee showed up on duty and left with sirens and all.
Cherry Berry at the Mall.
Pictures on the last morning.
What pictures on the last morning actually look like!
It's hard to get Mom to look at the camera...she is always smiling at the kids.

We always take a self portrait right before we part.
Love you Mom!
See you in August.
