Now he's Happy

Jacob has been spending most of his days begging for popcicles. He sure is happy when he gets one!

Moments....

Beautiful times with Brylee....Jumping in rain puddles with her, putting her to bed on July 4th and her absolute amazement with the fire works, watching her be silly with her brothers, laying her head on my shoulder (most of the day), watching her potty train, her trying on everyones shoes, wearing her snowboots naked.

Blessings with Brett.....His vocabulary..he comes up with words and I wonder how did he know what that word meant, his love for others, his help around the house without complaining, his love for his brother, for now Jacob is welcome where ever he goes, him reading his bible in bed and running to the basement to tell me something he read.

Joyous times with Jacob.....hugs and kisses for no reason, listening to him tell a story and having know idea what he said and loving him even more for that reason, watching him keep up with all the neighborhood boys, looking down and seeing that he has his flip flops on the wrong feet and between the wrong toes, him missing his Dad and sleeping with his picture, watching him dance and sing at VBS.

Brylee's Manicure and Pedicure

Brylee loves to have her toes polished. This time she wanted her fingers polished too. What else is a girl to do when her brothers play at the neighbors?!

Happy 4th!

We had a great 4th. Bryan is out of town so the Clarks had us over for dinner and fireworks. We all had a great time. Brylee had fun finding the yellow fireworks in the sky, Jacob had fun with the sparklers, and Brett had a blast lighting the fireworks. When we were going home Brett said "Guess I can light fireworks now!" I guess so but it was sure making me nervous. Thanks Clarks for a great night!

JoJo

Jacob went to church with his friend Lauren on Wed. night and when I went to pick him up I was told there was no Jacob. I said he was right there and the teacher told me that was "JoJo." When they put on his name tag they thought he said his name was "JoJo" and he had been answering to that name. So cute!! JoJo might be his new nickname!

9 Amazing Years

Bryan, I love you because....

because God used you as part of my salvation,

because you are the father of our 3 incredible children,

because you work so hard so I can stay home with our kiddos,

because you never judge me and love me for who I am,

because you are an amazing Dad,

because you can work all day and then come home and do housework without complaining,

because we make an amazing team and have decided to live like no lives today,

because you sold your truck for a better future,

because you rub my back every night,

because you love my family and gave me a wonderful family to love,

because you drove me to North Dakota in the middle of winter for Christmas,

because you are passionate about so many things in life,

because you can fix anything and you everthing you touch you make better,

because you can get 3 kids ready for bed,

because you pray with the kids,

because you cook for me,

because you get up at 5 in the morning and do dishes or laundry before work,

because the longer we are married the deeper my love is for you,

and most important you have put up with me for 9 years!

Riding Horses at Watson Park

Jacob rarely wants to do something on his own, but he was insistent about riding the pony. He loved it. They let Brylee sit on the pony to take a picture. Brett was to busy in the Moon Jump to ride.

Brylee is potty training and went potty for the first time today. She signed potty and ran for the bathroom! Way to go Brylee!

Brylee loves her hat. Bryan took all the kids to church so I could clean the house. Guess I better get off the computer and get it done!

Brylee got a pair of dress-up shoes. She loves to wear them. Her Great Grandma Valker would of been very proud of her! Pretty sure she had shoes just like Brylee's.

Jacob thinks it is Winter

This morning Jacob came down dressed in his lined Nike pants, a long sleeve shirt and a jacket on. But he was proud because he was wearing all Nike. He is still having a hard time wearing summer clothes!

Brett and Legos

Brett has been building lots of lego creations. He even purchased a lego computer game with his own money from ebay yesterday. We went to a movie last night and Brett was so tired he slept on the stairs with his legos.

Jacob and Brylee like hanging out at the ball fields. Jacob likes to take the car keys over and over and unlock the doors and get things out of the car and then lock the doors again. He thinks he is a pretty big guy with the keys. I suppose it will be cute until he locks the keys in the car!
