The Wedding of Q and U

There was a big Wedding in Brylee's Kindergarden class.

Princess Q and Prince U got married.

The girls were to dress up for the big occasion.

Brylee dressed up as a bride.

She looks innocent......

But she was a real Bridezilla on this early Friday morning....

There were several "no's!" and rolling on the floor.

She turned herself around when Jake's friends showed up.

I then thought to myself....Brylee in a brides dress with two babies is not an ideal situation!

After some sparkly eyes and lipstick we took the tatoo covered bride to school.

These two beautiful ladies have been showing up in the morning to ride to school with Jake.

 

and they are off!

Speech

Little Jake only had a handful of words at age 3.

If he was talking to me the whole sentence was Mamamamamamama.

He started speech therapy the month he turned 3.

Speech has been part of his life for the past 5 years.

He has had some amazing speech teachers. 

Mrs. A has been his speech teacher since Kindergarden.

Mrs. A makes him feel special and important.

Jake loves speech days!

  So much so that others in his class were faking speech issues to try to go to speech with Jake.

It finally happened...Jake was dismissed from speech.

He. Was. Devastated.

He says he never wants to leave speech.

Being the great speech teacher she is, once in awhile she will swing by and pick up Jake just for fun.

Brylee Ann is always coloring, drawing, painting and leaving love notes around the house.

A Bright Future

Driving home last night.....

"Mama, my future is bright, see I can look at the sun and not blink."

She has bright future indeed!

Busy

3 of them.  1 of me.

Monday night.

Drop Jake off at baseball practice.

Write my phone number on his Gatorade bottle.

Go pick up Brett's friend for soccer practice.

Drop the soccer players off.

Pick up Brylee's friend for gymnastics.

Assure Brylee I'm coming right back, wipe her tears off, tell the girls bye.

Rush back to pick up Jake from baseball.

Hungry boy.

Go through a drive-thru.

Go back to pick up the girls.

Drop Anmol off.

Pick up the soccer players.

Drop Collin off.

35 miles of driving back and forth.

Showers, bedtime reading, back rubs.

They are out like a light.

They Call Me Mom

My wonderful, beautiful children.

The night before Mother's Day Brylee cleaned up the house for me.  She tried to talk her brothers into helping but they found other activities very quick.

Jake was first to give me a framed picture of himself.  I happen to love it.

Brylee made me a card that read....

I Love you so much! You wer the Best Mommy! You wer the Best cocr! (cooker)

So sweet!

Brett went to a jewelry store and picked me out a gorgeous necklace!

We went to church, ate a pancake breakfast at church and then rushed to Brett's soccer game.

Jake then insisted on taking me to a buffet after the game.

I love my 3 beautiful children more than they will ever know!

I am blessed that they call me Mom!

He cracks me up and makes me think right along side him!

Brylee and Jake's new pet fish.

Jacob has wanted a pet....any pet.  He has been know to have pet ants.

As for me I could do without another living thing in my house.

But hey Jake has been begging for 5 years and finally broke me down.

Brylee changed her mind and decided she wanted a fish also.

She agreed to help take care of the fish.

Brett was not interested at all.
